ADB Discussed Collaboration on Judicial Capacity Building with the Council of ASEAN Chief Justices

On 16 September 2021, ADB Office of the General Counsel's Law and Policy Reform Program presented to the Judicial Education and Training Working Group of the Council of ASEAN Chief Justices. In particular, they discussed collaboration opportunities in key areas of the law with significant development impact in ASEAN member countries, such as commercial, environment and climate change laws. Also, they discussed how regional knowledge sharing and cooperation can foster harmonization of laws and best practices among the ASEAN judiciaries.
