The Sub-Decree establishes a National Climate Change Committee (NCCC) with the mandate to prepare, coordinate and monitor the implementation of policies, strategies, legal instruments, plans and programmes of the Royal Government of Cambodia to address climate change issues within the country. The NCCC is tasked to, among others, cooperate with concerned ministries and institutions in the drafting of climate change policies and in promoting stakeholder participation for the effective implementation of climate change policies.

The issuance approves the national target program on economical and efficient use of energy in the 2006-2015 period. The program's overall objectives include achieving targeted total saved energy amount, reducing part of development investment for the energy supply system and bring about socio­economic benefits while contributing to environmental protection, rational exploitation of natural energy resources and sustainable socio­economic development.

The Tariff Policy amendment clarifies the applicability of the requirement of competitive procurement for future power requirements. Generally, the requirement does not apply to projects signed or pending prior to the date the Tariff Policy was notified.

The National Biofuel Policy envisions use of environmentally friendly, sustainable and viable sources of energy. This will reduce the dependency on depleting fossil fuels, enhanced prosperity and well-being of all the stakeholders in the agriculture and commodity-based industries through stable and remunerative prices.

The Insurance Order regulates the insurance business in Brunei Darussalam. It provides that no person shall carry on any class of insurance business as insurer unless the person is registered as a company under the Companies Act. It also requires companies carrying on life business or general business insurance in Brunei to register under the Order in respect of that class of business, maintain the prescribed deposit and surplus of assets over liabilities, and be a member of an approved association of insurers.

The Decree-Law provides the rules on the business registration of cooperatives, public companies, company subsidiary groups, sole ownerships and corporate bodies.

The Act provides for legislation regarding the collection and disposal of solid wastes, and the management of all wastes in the Kingdom of Tonga.

The Tariff Policy was formulated pursuant to the Electricity Act, 2003 which empowers the Central Government to formulate such policy. Among the objectives of the tariff policy are to ensure availability of electricity to consumers at reasonable and competitive rates, ensure financial viability of the energy sector and attract investments, and promote generation of electricity from renewable sources.

The Act provides the prohibition and regulation of the possession, use, import, transshipment, transfer and transportation of biological agents, inactivated biological agents and toxins.

The Act provides legislation to ensure competition in the market and established the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore to enforce and implement the provisions of the Act.
